How to Donate Computers
C3 invites you to help us bring computers to the underserved communities of Colorado.
We are looking for WORKING equipment with the following specifications:
- Desktop PC computers
- at least Pentium III or equivalent, 700 MHz, 128 RAM, 10GB HD, CD-ROM
- must be able to boot and all parts must work
- Laptop PC computers
- at least Pentium III or equivalent 700 MHz, 128 RAM, 10GB HD, CD-ROM
- must be able to boot and all parts must work
- must have power adapter
- Monitors
- 17” or 19” CRT’s or Any Size LCD
- display must be clear and have all colors present
- Must be manufactured after 1999
- Hard Drives, RAM, CD-ROMs
- Mice, projectors, digital cameras
- Routers, switches, hubs, network cables, monitor and power cords, etc.
FREE equipment pick up & processing – We do not charge donors or recipients for any of our services. If you or your company has 10 or more full systems (CPU + Monitor) to donate, we will pick up your equipment for free within the Boulder/Denver Metro area.
Steps for donating your computer equipment:
- Make sure that your equipment is in working order and that it meets our minimum specifications (see above). * Please contact a recycling organization such as Eco-cycle, in Boulder (303-444-6634) or Guaranteed Recycling Xperts, in Denver, to dispose of your computer equipment properly and responsibly.
- If you have 10 or more full systems (CPU + Monitor), please fill out our pickup form to arrange a pick up time.
- If you have less than 10 full systems (CPU + Monitor), please call our Refurbishing Center to schedule a drop off time.
