Learners attend refurbishing workshop in Denver

Learners James Saint Claire and Benden Vanderver joined Moni in picking up a computer donation from the jared Polis Foundation (JPF) at its Denver warehouse last month. JPF Community Computer Connections Director, Bob Townley, generously offered his time to teach James and Brendan to refurbish computers for themselves and for the Vision lab.

The crew picked up newly-refurbished computers to give to learners through the “Learn and Earn” program in which recipients spend at least twelve hours learning something new about comptuers. The new (Newly refurbished) computers in the Vision lab will be set up for learners to use with their own personalized desktops and login identities this month.
