New “Support Education” Colorado license plate!

Want to show your support for public education and help support programs in your school district? The Colorado School Foundation Association, a consortium of education non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting public education, introduced and passed a bill to create a “Support Education” Colorado license plate. It is available state-wide for $20, in addition to the $25 fee charged by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Plates can be purchased by visiting www.SupportColoradoSchools.org. When a driver purchases a Colorado “Support Education” license plate, he or she can specify which foundation will receive the funds from that sale – 100% of proceeds will be used by the participating organizations to fund programs that directly impact classroom learning. The “Support Education” license plate program gives Colorado drivers a visible way to show their support for public education and to enhance educational opportunities for more than 350,000 public school students in Colorado
